I feel so appreciated.
Oct. 21st, 2003 10:51 pmMail arrived today from Project Read, the nonprofit where I volunteer. I have been out drumming up donations for the raffle to be held at their upcoming fundraiser, the Trivia Challenge. They're all happy. To wit:
"You’re awesome!! Every day is like Christmas when it’s Trivia Challenge time and because of your efforts, we’ve been getting a lot of really great stuff. I just got the 'Birthday Swim Party'– it’s so cool.
"Thank you so much for all the work you’ve been doing on raffle prizes."
Yay! I volunteer for NICE people. ^_^
