TAKE MY STUFF.
Apr. 21st, 2007 02:50 pmNo, seriously. Come and take it away. Please.
I have stuff. Lots of stuff. Here, see?
The big thing first: I have a 22-string rosewood lap harp that I can't play any more because of my hands. Musical instruments are meant to be played. So it's time for me to say goodbye to it. The pins will probably all need to be replaced; the harp has spent the last eight years in Fogland and the pins have rusted. As far as I can tell, the soundbox is in fine shape.
Comes with a soft carrying case and a key, plus I can dig up what little music I have and toss that in too.
I wouldn't mind getting $50 for it, but if someone really really wants it and doesn't have $50, well... :)
Clothing and sewing stuff:
Pair of brown deerskin motorcycle gauntlets, unlined, size small. Never worn.
Bag o' fabric, including soft shirting (the heavy kind), corduroy, fleece...
Not-really-period garb. There's a leine with full sleeves that can be gathered with ribbons; an underdress that goes over the head and has laces at the sides; and an overdress that laces up the front. Also a little belt pouch in brightly colored suede, and one of those ornamental knives which is really best used for spreading cheese.
Plant stuff:
African violet, slightly nibbled, and a bottle of plant food
Assorted flowerpots of various sizes, shapes, and materials. Three are rectangular, the rest are round.
There might be potting soil. I'd have to go look and it's cold and I'm lazy.
Safer brand insecticidal soap (for roses and such)
Safer brand fungicide
Liquid vitamin concentrate for plants
Maxsea plant food
Set of gardening hand tools (wide trowel, narrow trowel, and cultivator)
Rose clippers
Cat stuff:
A 40-lb. bucket of Scoop Away "Fresh Scent" cat litter, a bit more than half full. I can't handle the scent.
A container of Litter Purrfect cat litter (Now! With! Lemongrass!). Scent, ditto.
A couple of cat toys featuring feathers that Calliope seems totally uninterested in. Also I don't like giving cats feather toys. But you might!
Geekish bookish stuff:
Some old magazines, mostly Real Simple
Piles of manga, mostly from late 80's and early 90's
Four anime/manga posters, mounted on foamcore
