My life in the last (*checks*) nine days
Jun. 25th, 2005 05:22 pmFirst week of classes-plus-full-tutoring-schedule. Just have to keep reminding myself, "This madhouse schedule only goes for five weeks, and one is already gone."
Behold my schedule of DOOM:
M-Th: teach class 9-12:15. My students are cool.
M: tutor 3-4
T: tutor 3:30-4:30, teach evening class 6:30-8:30
W: tutor 2:30-3:30, 3:30-4:15, 4:15-5
Th: tutor 4-5, 5-6
Fri: various appointments (in SF, usually), chores, etc.
Our 8th anniversary was Tuesday the 21st. A minute ago Hardi wanted to know if I've told you all I love him yet. Consider yourselves told.
The apartment keeps getting messier. Whine.
Saw Batman Begins last Friday. Truly, the movie, she is the bomb. Also Christian Bale is hot.
...and yeah, Michael Caine is the perfect Alfred. But whose lame idea was Katie Holmes?
What the hell is up with all the zombie movies this summer? Geez.
I want to see this. Also Mr. and Mrs. Smith because it sounds like fun.
My throat is scratchy so I'm thinking I'm coming down with a cold. Feh. I don't have time to be sick.
We're planning to go camping in August. There's still time to persuade me I've lost my mind. That or lend me a camp stove. REI has a sale this weekend. Maybe I'll buy a tent. It has to be waterproof because we're going to Trinidad (Humboldt Co.) in August and it could rain. I haven't been camping since sometime in high school.
After I brought my Mac home from the shop I discovered that the screen goes dimmer in the upper right-hand corner whenever the computer is put to sleep. So while replacing my power supply, the repair person messed up my monitor. So now I have to take it back to the shop and do without it for (probably) another week while they get their act together and that assumes this part is readily available and I really just resent this. GRAR.
