Yeah, I'm pretty pleased with the outcome of the election. We got the House, we got the governor's mansions, and it looks pretty damn good for the Senate. And 85 and 90 got shot down, thank all the gods.
I wish 83 hadn't passed; that 2000 feet rule is the poison pill. Where do people think all the sex offenders will go? Places like Quincy and Eureka, that's where--small rural cities and towns with places to live past 2000 feet... and not a lot of resources for law enforcement.
God I'm glad I volunteered for MoveOn.org. I didn't have time to do a great deal, but I made a difference, dammit.
