I am starving my cat.

She wants you all to know this. I am cruel, inhumane, and sadistic. I am all of these things because I pay no heed to her anxious, creaky mewing until the clock says it is time for her twice-daily half-measure of dry diet kibble (which is not nearly as tasty as the older cat's low-protein, high-fat, kidney-friendly kibble). I actually ate in front of her while she stared at me with those biiig, rouuuund, yellow-green eyes.

Please ignore the belly that flops back and forth when she breaks into a trot. It has nothing to do with the fact that I am starving her.
