i remember talking about this with my dad, who is for civil unions. we had an interesting conversation. i felt i was getting a little emotional toward the end because i thought that if indeed some legislation was passed to prevent homosexuals from getting married...well, it made me sad to think that if, some time in the future, some of my friends chose to get married, they wouldn't be able to do so...
