I saw that also on CNN.com. On one hand I am happy that he is being charged with corruption, on the other hand I know that such corruption must be far more prevalent than we suppose.

question: does the indictment mean he gets in trouble or that there is merely a chance that he gets in trouble and could be able to wriggle out of it with a bit of beating about the bush *pun intended*?

the latter. indictment simply means that he's been officially charged with a crime--the grand jury found that there was enough evidence for the case to go to trial. so next comes the trial, when of course each side whips out a pair of loaded lawyers and starts blasting away. ;)

in that case I reserve my *squee* for the moment I see him on TV in one of those funny colored jumpsuits with handcuffs and foot irons. ;)
