I just hope this doesn't lead to the same crap we've had for the first 6 years of the W era, where there were no checks and balances between the whitehouse and legislature. Stupid power-grubbing politicians are stupid power-grubbing politicians whether they're wearing red or blue ... and the most effective (and practical) way to contain that stupidity is to maintain a balance between red stupidity and blue stupidity.
