... the super-extra-flaming-Cheez-Whiz™-in-a-can Kurt Russell flick.

Hilariously bad. Features, among other things:

- Garbage Planet (dude, it's less trouble to just fling your trash into the local sun, yo),
- top brass who are too stupid to zip their own flies and please, like they'd actually ever make colonel,
- miniguns that fire immediately after being immersed in water,
- award for Best OMGWTFBBQ Use of a Loreena McKennitt Song in a War Movie,
- antipersonnel rockets,
- and about eight lines of dialogue from Mr. Russell, but extensive dialogue from Mr. Russell's eyebrows.

TWO THUMBS UP. JOE BOB SAYS CHECK IT OUT.

I love that movie. Cheese, yes, but if you ignore the lack of sense in the details, well-written cheese. It was nice to see a movie where the main actor was able to carry his part non-verbally.

But then, I'm a person who, if forced to watch a talky drama, will eventually shout, "will you shut up and DO something?!" at the screen. So perhaps I have no cred when it comes to rating movies good or bad. ;)

It's a fun movie and in many respects, a possible Super Trooper story, ain't it?

Kat pretty much summed it up and after not shooting the TV when trying to watch the Train Wreck of the Week aka the "Sci-fi Channel Original Movie" Black Hole - and not getting plastered, that was a show of restraint.

We're talking massive continuity errors there! In one scene, you see the old Busch stadium being demolished & then, in this final flyover of the city at the end of the movie, *poof!* the stadium is there and it's like it never was destroyed as they land in front of like city hall, which is just blocks from the stadium. *lol*
