Dear Encore Films: WTF?
Dec. 15th, 2011 03:32 pmHoly Moses. I take back every bad thing I've ever said about the ads and copyright statements that run at the beginning of American DVDs. At least you can skip the ads. Right now I'm watching a DVD from Malaysia, and you're forced to sit through nine minutes of trailers and such. Seriously?

At the same type, companies are demanding increasingly forceful for a stronger copyright, higher fees, heavier punishments, etc. pp. because of piracy (why it's called piracy? Do the sellers of bootlegged DVDs have parrots and wooden legs?).
Personally, I think they wouldn't have problems with copied stuff, when they'd stop making their legit stuff virtually unusable because of it.
