elizabeth my love, I have realized that your scarf will be very short. there is not much yarn left and it is not even an arm long! what to do, what to do?
Wow, I guess it's really more fine than I realized. I know nothing of knitting. Urrr... I will go back to the shop and get more. I hope they have more. Egad.
Or should it be narrower? I trust your judgement in that.
the narrowness will not make a big difference. it is 8 inches wide as it is, and even if I go down to 7 it will only make a minute difference length-wise. I did change to another type of knitting, which is not as elegant as what I did initially, but it added quite a bit of length. however, more yarn is needed, if you don't want your scarf to be, ammm, short. :)
[the red is color 93, lot 8245 - that's the only one that needs to be the same lot, because otherwise it'll look funny. the accent colors brown and white can be of a diferent lot, it really does not matter much.]
Would it look too busy to add a third accent color? Or is it too late for that? Like I said, I know nothing about knitting. Also I can't see how much you have done so far. :)
*hugs* Have I mentioned lately that you are really really cool?
