To no one's shock, I'm not a nihilist.

Yeah, I pretty much come down on the side of the idea that I'm not arrogant enough to believe that I possess any kind of Truth-with-a-capital-T. Faith's nice when used as a source of strength and solace, but as soon as it becomes an excuse for not thinking, I lose respect for it. And as far as egoism and all that goes, you know, you don't have to be mean, 'cause wherever you go, there you are.
