try being an Indian employee of an American company. Apparently people regularly verbally abuse them. I'm not talking "Dammit, your product sucks!", but more like "You dirty rat-eating blah blah blah, you deserve to starve!"

I think outsourcing sucks, but reading things like this make me ashamed of my countrypeople. These poor Indian kids, who just want to make a decent living, believe Americans are all like that. Well, it seems a lot of the ones who call them are...

You know... it's not. Or at least it's not so hard that we can't do it if we just take a deep breath and think about how the other person feels. But humans are wired to be selfish. That's how life survives. So... we're uncivil.

Even if it sucks.
