In MS Word there is this stupid thing on the Styles pop-down called "Default Paragraph Font." It left the factory set at Times 9 point. NINE POINT. I just tried about four different things to change it and none of them worked. I am STUCK WITH IT. And lately every time I paste text from one document to another, "Default Paragraph Font" jumps in front of my bus and causes a CAR WRECK, JESUS. Who the hell uses TIMES NINE POINT as a DEFAULT?

And it's NOT EVEN REALLY A PARAGRAPH FONT. It's a character font. So they're inconsistent chicken-fucking morons. If you're going to be a chicken-fucking moron, the least you can do is be consistent.

I would make a voodoo doll with DEFAULT PARAGRAPH FONT written on its chest and a humungous pin stabbed right through the P and I would send it to Redmond... except 1. as H put it, they probably get stuff like that all the time and "Steve Vollmer is probably bleeding a dozen virgins to counteract it all" and 2. Das BushCo might thing I was a terrurst and throw me in an oubliette in the depths of Gitmo and never again would you all enjoy my rants. ONOZ.

is what it says in the About box. So I guess that's Word 2001?

But Word for Mac has always been a bit... lacking.
