Gardening squee

So I just:

transplanted my miniature Japanese maple
potted a bacopa with it
sowed viola and sweet alyssum and one mini nasturtium with it

sowed salad greens, spinach, and more nasturtiums
sowed zinnias and marigolds
sowed basil and thyme
potted up mint, catnip, sage, and rosemary

and swept the balcony.

I still need to sow carrots, beets, radishes, and poppies, and pot a geranium. Need more planters. Also something to keep the cats from digging. That'll be fun. :/

My arms are sore, but I'm really happy. Ice tiem nao.

Wow! I am envious. My daughter and I cannot wait for the frost to pass so that we can start the vegetable garden. I've bought onion sets and garlic cloves. Have you seen the articles on the new kitchen garden at the White House?
