Seriously? When you comment here in my LJ, please be careful not to accidentally click Repost when you make your comment. I don't want potentially sensitive information getting plastered all over FB; I use my real name in both places. dysonrules did an experiment (for science!) that shows exactly what such a comment would look like. I love you all, but violators will be baninated, for reals. And that would be sad. :(

ETA: Late to the party, I guess? My feelings still stand, though.

This sucks. The FB connection was deactivated for my account, but until now I didn't realize commenters would have the option to crosspost comments. I guess, I'm kind of lucky that commenting is disabled here and redirects to DW.

The poll showed 2000+ to 6 against it. "NO" and "Fail" isn't about to cover this!

I also wonder about the reason for this. It's not as if FB is a functional place for blogging past the "OMG, cuuuuute" given it's limited formatting options. If they are aiming at Facebooking LJ, it clearly deteriorates content quality. *growl*
