May. 28th, 2004 02:39 pmScored a Dar Williams CD at a charity thrift shop for just $4. I'd heard of her, but never heard her music. Nice, mellow stuff. I especially like the first track.
Aaannnd... I discovered a lurvely boulangerie (Bay Bread) just across the street from a favorite Thai restaurant in SF. I tried Bay Bread's whole grain bread a couple of weeks ago--found it at Whole Foods--and absolutely loved it. Super tasty. Even better, Hardi, who usually doesn't care for whole wheat bread all that much, dug it. We ate through one of those small (8-inch?) round loaves in like two days. Snarfle. There is now a loaf of the whole grain, plus a tasty-looking walnut raisin bread, sitting on our kitchen table. Happy camper.
Bread. I loooooooooooooove bread.
