Scored a Dar Williams CD at a charity thrift shop for just $4. I'd heard of her, but never heard her music. Nice, mellow stuff. I especially like the first track.

Aaannnd... I discovered a lurvely boulangerie (Bay Bread) just across the street from a favorite Thai restaurant in SF. I tried Bay Bread's whole grain bread a couple of weeks ago--found it at Whole Foods--and absolutely loved it. Super tasty. Even better, Hardi, who usually doesn't care for whole wheat bread all that much, dug it. We ate through one of those small (8-inch?) round loaves in like two days. Snarfle. There is now a loaf of the whole grain, plus a tasty-looking walnut raisin bread, sitting on our kitchen table. Happy camper.

Bread. I loooooooooooooove bread.

which cd? probably "honesty room" or maybe "mortal city" or just maybe the "green world"? probably not the end of the summer? (i don't remember if it is "the summer" or just "end of summer") i'm not really familiar with her latest one, but i don't remember liking it as much.

The Beauty of the Rain. Is that her latest one? I haven't bestirred myself to look. My husband bought another one of hers; I don't know which. More lack of bestirrage.

yes, that would be it, though I can't say that I'm as fond of The Beauty of the Rain. Honesty Room and Mortal city are my favorites.
